Where Iron and Air works
Zone 1: Standard service area, no travel charge
Coomera, Helensvale, Hope Island, Paradise Point, Sanctuary Cove, Sovereign Islands, Runaway Bay, Biggera Waters, Labrador, Main Beach, Southport, plus the surrounding waterfront and inland suburbs across the Coomera-to-Southport corridor.
Zone 2: Extended service area, +$90 travel
Mudgeeraba, Robina, Reedy Creek, Burleigh, Logan, Springwood, Brisbane southside.
Zone 3: Quoted case-by-case
Anywhere outside Zones 1 and 2. Travel and time costed against the specific brief. Off-grid and rural enquiries usually fall here and are quoted on a per-project basis.
What happens next
First response within four business hours, typically faster. The response either confirms the right next step (book an audit, schedule a site visit, send specific photos), asks for clarification if the form context isn't enough to scope the work, or refers the enquiry to a different contractor if it's outside Iron and Air's scope.
If the work is general electrical, the next step is usually a $130 site visit. Covers travel within Zone 1 and the first 30 minutes on site, deducted from the invoice if work proceeds.
If the work is integration, marine, off-grid, or solar diagnostic, the next step is one of the four audits: Solar Health Check $250, System Handover Audit $350, Home System Audit $450, or Combined Estate Audit $900. The right audit depends on the situation, which the response email will confirm.
If the work is outside scope (commercial, large-format multi-residential, anything QBCC-governed with a head builder), the response will say so and refer you to a contractor better suited. No charge for not being a fit.
